The MARGRAF CEPHALOMETRIC BEAM LIMITING DEVICE collimates the X-ray beam from a large over-exposed area, to an 8" x 10" field size, which is the maximum coverage permitted by DHHS regulations, when using an 8" x 10" X-ray film.

The BEAM LIMITING DEVICE is completey LEAD-LINED to eliminate scatter and secondary X-radiation, affording maximum safety to professional personnel and patients.

The MARGRAF CEPHALOMETRIC BEAM LIMITING DEVICE (BOX TYPE COLLIMATOR) is available for all makes and models of dental x-ray units and can be adapted to any make Cephalometric System by using a modified plate or bracket (X-ray Head Fixator) which is available when needed. Initial positioning is accomplished in minimal time.

PLEASE SPECIFY THE MAKE AND MODEL OF YOUR X-RAY UNIT AND ALSO THE MAKE AND MODEL OF THE CEPHALOMETRIC SYSTEM BEING USED, THE EXACT DISTANCES FROM THE X-RAY SOURCE TO THE CASSETTE, AND FROM THE X-RAY FIXATOR BRACKET TO THE CASSETTE ARE NECESSARY FOR CALIBRATION
